I was initially hired by Curran & Connors to be an Interactive Producer. The position was responsible for maintaining build schedules, allocating resources, project management, contract writing and scheduling projects for development within the department.
Not long after I was hired, my responsibilities grew to include content management, which mainly consisted of working directly with the client to make updates to their site using the WordPress CMS for anything from copy and graphics to the creation of additional pages.
Eventually, my role was expanded to include the design and development of sites using Bootstrap and/or WordPress and creating custom video for clients using After Effects and Premiere.
All the websites that we built had to conform to the print design that was being used, so a variety of techniques such as eases, transitions, content reveals and scrolling were used to allow the images to breathe while still retaining the design continuity of the print report.
